			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have been interested in getting started with some hardware projects for a while now, buying an <a  title="Arduino - Project Home Page" href="http://www.arduino.cc/" target="_blank">Arduino</a> kit, but not really doing anything with it. This world was opened up to me by the various people who have combined <a  title="Processing Home Page" href="http://processing.org" target="_blank">Processing</a> and Arduino together to create really interesting projects. I decided to get on the case and actually do something. So I have been reading the &#8220;Getting Started with Arduino&#8221; book, creating a few simple little projects. Nothing exciting so far, but will post when I have something worth showing.</p>
<p>I have also come across the <a  title="London Hackspace" href="http://london.hackspace.org.uk/">London Hackspace Group</a>, which I plan to start heading along to. I think it would be good to socialise with people into this stuff. They have a sorta lab type thing where you can go and build stuff and talk to people.</p>
